Custom Gate Specifications

If you can, please send a photo, sketch, etc. of what you want your gate to look like:

Is the standard panel design with 3/4 in. x 3/4 in. spindles ok?

Amount of Space Between Spindles:

Should the gate go straight across the area or zig-zag?
Note: If the gate will go straight across the area, feet need to be added for support as well as some sort of end support into the walls.

Can screws be put into the walls on each end of the gate?

Do we need to adjust the end gate panels for baseboard moldings?

Are the floors flat where the gate will be placed or is there some sort of transition between carpet and tile, or possibly stairs?

Does the gate need a door?
Note: If a door is needed the gate needs to be built out of 1 1/4” thick wood instead of our standard 3/4” thick stock.

Note: All gates with doors have a 4” step over at the bottom of the door panel – If this is not acceptable we can build a permanent mounting gate that will be just like a door or double door.

Should the gate be finished (paint or stained and clear coated)?
